Securing capital funding from the provincial government is highly competitive, but the Tri-Cities cannot afford to wait. To build complete, thriving communities, we must be proactive and aggressive in pursuing funding allocations building with flexibility not only to support our massive population growth, but also the continuously changing needs of our communities.

Actionable Steps:

• Northeast Coquitlam Middle School and Marigold Elementary: These schools are vital investments in one of SD43's fastest-growing communities. Completing these projects will reduce overcrowding, support growing families, and provide modern, flexible, future-ready learning spaces that can adapt to our community's evolving needs.

• The Moody Elementary Blueprint: Moody Elementary is Smart Infrastructure Built Right.  Our district can build state-of-the-art, future-ready facilities that anchor a neighborhood for decades. We must take the success, lessons learned, and momentum from the Moody project and apply that exact same blueprint to our next wave of critical projects across the Tri-Cities.
